The Role
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop & grow our presence across the South West of England.
This is a field-based, remote role focused on driving sales through distributor networks.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategy across the territory
* Introduce GYS products to new distributors
* Grow sales within existing accounts
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
* Deliver product training and sales support to distributor teams
* Promote new products, campaigns, and initiatives
* Achieve and exceed sales targets
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends
Territory
South West England (including key areas such as Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, and surrounding regions)
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in area sales / territory management
* Strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets
* Experience working with distributor networks (essential)
* Background in one or more of the following sectors:
* Automotive
* Agriculture
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, independent, and driven
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
* Visiting distributors and prospects on a structured call plan
* Opening new accounts and securing first orders
* Training distributor sales teams to drive sell-out
* Expanding product listings within national/regional groups
* Implementing pricing and promotional strategies
* Supporting marketing campaigns in the field
