MMS Ship Repair are currently seeking marine painters / sprayers to join our skilled team. Candidates should be proactive, reliable and willing to work overtime (both evenings & weekends) if required.
You will assist the team in preparing and coating a wide range of vessels and components using a variety of marine paint systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Surface preparation
* Application of primers, topcoats, and specialist marine coatings using spray, brush & roller methods
* Mixing and preparing paints
* Comply with shipyard safety, environmental, and quality standards
Requirements
* Ideally have a Train the Painter qualification
* Previous experience as a marine painter / sprayer is preferred
* Knowledge of paint systems such as epoxy, polyurethane, and anti-corrosive coatings
* Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
* Comfortable working at heights & in confined spaces
