About the Team
The Warwickshire Separated Children and Leaving Care Team is based in Warwick at Myton Park. We are a countywide service offering provision up to the age of 25. The Separated Children Team work (previously known as Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Team) with children aged 0-25, working to enable young people to settle and manage their asylum status. Warwickshire begins to embed our Families First teams who support the young people in our County, with a locality-based, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach that supports the whole family, building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Social Worker within the Separated Children and Leaving Care team. The team is well established with very experienced and supportive staff. This is a full-time position to join our team based at Myton Park in Warwick.
In addition to social work duties in a child in care team, this specialist role will entail:
* Working with professionals across other agencies to provide support to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (e.g., solicitors / navigating immigration).
* Working with the young people from the day of their arrival through to leaving care.
* Working closely with partner agencies including Health, Police, Education, and the Home Office.
* You will have experience of working with young people in care and/or care leavers and up-to-date knowledge of legislation.
* The role entails travelling both within Warwickshire and out of county; therefore access to a vehicle will be required.

Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
