We're looking for a Cooling Service Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and repairing critical cooling equipment across a wide range of sites. Expect frequent travel, including national coverage and training in Italy.
What you'll do:
1. Commission and start up newly installed cooling systems.
2. Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on chilled water, DX, economiser, In-row, perimeter, and containment cooling systems.
3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
4. Supervise installation contractors and ensure best practices.
5. Work in critical environments, including data centres.
6. Use specialist software and applications for system analysis and reporting.
7. Follow all safety, compliance, and reporting procedures.
8. Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).
9. Join a specialist team of 11+ engineers and apprentices.
10. Primarily cover the M4 corridor but may travel elsewhere.
11. Work in your assigned region, with potential overnight stays.
12. Qualifications: F-Gas qualified, fully certified (City & Guilds Level 2+, NVQ, HNC in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning).
13. Previous experience in cooling service roles.
14. Strong knowledge of critical cooling systems (data centre experience preferred).
15. Turbo Core experience is advantageous.
16. Confident with technical software and diagnostics tools.
17. Full UK driving license (company van provided).
18. Willing to travel UK-wide and train in Italy (Padua, near Venice).
