Our client is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support a major infrastructure project in Plymouth. Working within a Joint Project Team, you will coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities on a high-profile defence programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Define requirements and prepare technical specifications
* Review drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
* Provide technical supervision of construction/deconstruction
* Support commissioning and respond to technical queries
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
* Design assurance on complex projects
* Stakeholder engagement across the engineering lifecycle
* Defence sector experience
* Engineering lifecycle management
* Chartered Engineer status
Requirements
* UK National with active SC Clearance
* Accredited STEM degree (or equivalent experience)
* Relevant marine and/or mechanical environment exposure
