Wolviston Group is working in partnership with a leading engineering and infrastructure organisation to recruit a Procurement Lead to support the delivery of high-value, high-profile projects in the energy and infrastructure sector.
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for overseeing full-lifecycle procurement activities including planning, contract negotiation, supplier management, and integration with wider project functions. The successful candidate will lead a small team and manage complex procurement across engineering packages including civil, mechanical, electrical, and C&I.
Key Responsibilities:
Full project procurement coordination for services, materials, and plant
NEC contract review and supplier performance management
Expediting and procurement scheduling aligned to project milestones
Risk identification and contribution to project risk registers
Leading and mentoring procurement support staff
Compliance with EP23 and other internal procurement procedures Requirements:
Extensive procurement experience in engineering or energy sectors
Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
Background in supply chain management and commercial reporting
Familiarity with technical procurement across multiple engineering disciplines
