We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our busy team in Taunton. Within this role you will be supporting our Chemist to provide general office and laboratory administration duties. This is a varied role, getting stuck into different tasks Long-term progression opportunities could be available for the right candidate.
This is a permanent role, which is full-time, working on site Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Main duties include:
· General administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and document management
· Process lab samples and completing paperwork
· Assist with quality control checks
· Issuing worksheets and paperwork for manufacturing
· Support during meetings, including note taking
· Working with other departments frequently to ensure the smooth running of the department
What we're looking for:
· Previous experience of an administration role would be advantageous
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
· Adaptable and proactive with the ability to multi-task and prioritise appropriately
· Able to work independently and take the initiative in managing stakeholder demands
· Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
· Strong report, presentation and spreadsheet authorship skills
· Ability to build rapport with all colleagues
