What you will do
* Manage a caseload of children involved in care proceedings.
* Prepare and present high-quality court reports, statements, and evidence.
* Undertake parenting and risk assessments.
* Work closely with legal services to progress cases through court.
* Attend court hearings and legal planning meetings.
* Develop and progress care and permanence plans for children.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.
Key Skills
* Strong knowledge of care proceedings and court processes.
* Excellent assessment, analytical, and report‑writing skills.
* Ability to present evidence confidently in court.
* Strong safeguarding and risk management abilities.
* Ability to manage complex and high‑risk cases.
* Effective communication and multi‑agency working skills.
Experience
* Significant post‑qualification experience in Children’s Social Care.
* Experience within a Court Team or legal planning environment.
* Experience managing care proceedings cases.
* Experience in multi‑agency partnership working.
