Supply Chain Analyst
Permanent role, full-time, 39 hours a week
Hybrid (currently 3 days office, 2 days from home)
Will be expected to provide weekend cover between 7am and 10am as agreed with other team members
Salary: £28-33 per annum + benefits

About the role
Supply Chain Analyst is a supporting role to the wider supply chain and distribution teams enabling ongoing monitoring of the network’s performance as well as supporting identification of further improvement opportunities. Following a string of substantial investments in Pets at Home’s supply chain and distribution network, including a transition to a new distribution centre and implementation of AI supply planning platform (Relex), these areas have become highly reliant on accurate and timely data, therefore a big part of the role is to ensure high quality of the inputs and provide monitoring of the outputs.
Key areas of responsibilities
1. Carry out daily checklists, conduct periodical checks of data inputs and produce KPI reports focusing mainly on supply chain and logistics.
2. Based on end-to-end supply chain data & insights gathered, identify patterns & trends and pro-actively bring any risks & opportunities to the attention to the other team members.
3. Assist Relex Super Users with daily running of the system, minor enhancements and necessary testing.
4. Provide daily monitoring (including weekend cover) as well as support during system failures to minimise disruption to DC and store colleagues.
5. Be the trusted expert and guardian of processes within and those touching the supply chain function.
6. Evaluate and respond to internal queries (Pet Care Centres & Support Office) regarding product availability and stockholding.
7. Through training and monitoring, ensure adherence to the established standard and procedures.
8. Support other improvement initiatives covering people, processes and systems, all the way from evaluation, through delivery to ongoing maintenance.

11. Results-driven with an ability to plan and self-organise to achieve objectives and targets.
Experience and skills required
12. Experience in supply chain, logistics, or similar analytical role, ideally in retail or ecommerce.
13. Comfortable with numbers, statistics and technology.
14. Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas - Power Query / Power BI a bonus).
15. Ability to handle large datasets from various systems and turn them into meaningful insights and actionable reporting. Experience with data analysis tools will be advantageous.
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
17. Knowledge of Relex or an equivalent supply chain planning solution is desirable.
