About the role
As our Electrical Supervisor, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of electrical services across our homes, with a strong focus on Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and compliance.
You’ll be a visible, hands‑on leader and a trusted technical point of contact—supporting electricians, assuring quality, and ensuring work is completed safely, consistently and to the right standard. You’ll also work closely with planners, compliance teams and managers to keep services running smoothly and customers informed.
It’s an exciting time to join Golding Homes. We’re continuing to invest in our in‑house Repairs and Maintenance service, strengthening customer experience and reinforcing our long‑standing commitment to safe, high‑quality homes for our communities.
What you’ll be doing
Electrical compliance & EICR leadership
* Leading and supervising the delivery of EICRs completed by our in-house electricians
* Ensuring inspections and testing meet BS 7671, IET Guidance Note 3 and relevant housing and electrical safety legislation
* Providing technical leadership, mentoring and quality assurance for inspection and testing activities
* Reviewing and validating EICRs and certification, ensuring accurate coding, prioritisation and completion of remedial works
* Monitoring performance, compliance data and quality metrics to manage risk and drive continuous improvement
* Maintaining strong document control, certification standards and audit readiness
* Identifying trends, recurring defects and training needs, and putting improvements in place
* Working collaboratively with planners, compliance teams and other workstreams to schedule work efficiently and minimise disruption to customers
Alongside EICRs, you’ll also oversee wider electrical activity as needed, ensuring consistent standards across repairs, voids and planned work.

* Recognised by, or capable of being recognised by, NICEIC as a Qualifying Supervisor
Experience
* Experience working in a compliance-led or responsive maintenance environment
* Proven experience managing or supervising electrical operatives
* Strong background in inspection and testing, including EICRs
* Experience managing electrical compliance within social housing or a similarly regulated environment
* Experience supporting external audits and inspections (e.g. NICEIC)
