Warehouse Operative / Driver – Maidstone

Location: Maidstone
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
• Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00

Pay: Weekly pay every Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with Driving Duties to join a busy automotive parts distributor based in Maidstone.

This is primarily a warehouse role, with occasional delivery driving required to cover staff holidays and sickness. A full UK manual driving licence is essential for this position.

Duties Include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Scanning and labelling stock
• Wrapping and preparing bulk items for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Completing local deliveries when required

Products Handled:
You will be working with a range of automotive parts and products, including:

• Brake pads and brake discs
• Nuts, bolts and vehicle components
• Oils, fluids and lubricants
• Vehicle batteries, from motorcycles through to lorries and tractors

Candidate Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
