Are you looking for flexible, part-time work that fits around your studies or other commitments? Do you enjoy working with children and helping to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment?
We are currently recruiting School Wraparound Childcare Assistants to work across a number of primary schools in Haringey. Schools are looking to build a reliable pool of staff to support their breakfast clubs, lunchtime provision, and after-school clubs.
The Role
You will support children from Reception to Year 6, either before school, during lunchtime, or after school, helping to ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
Hours can vary depending on the school, but typically include:
* Breakfast Club: 7:45am – 9:00am
* Midday Meal: 11:00am – 2:00pm
* After-School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
You can choose which sessions suit your availability.
Midday Meal Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils during the school lunchtime period
* working both in the lunch hall and on the playground
* helping to manage behaviour and ensure pupils are safe
Breakfast & After-School Club Responsibilities
* Supporting the daily running of breakfast and/or after-school clubs
* Leading or assisting with games, creative activities, and structured play
* Ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged at all times
* Supporting with snacks and transitions between activities
* Supervising children indoors and outdoors
* Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people (school or similar setting preferred)
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive
* Enthusiastic with a genuine passion for children’s wellbeing
* Good spoken and written English
* Willingness to undertake training and develop professionally
Safeguarding & Compliance
