Your new roleA confidential opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Financial Controller to join the finance team based in Tunbridge Wells. Reporting into the senior leadership team, this is a key role responsible for leading the finance and treasury functions, delivering high-quality financial insight, and managing a small team.You will play a critical role in supporting senior stakeholders withmercial analysis, strategic decision-making and financialernance.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing the finance and treasury functions, including line management of a team of four
2. Producing monthly management accounts, analysis andmentary
3. Providing detailed performance insight including trend, margin and profitability analysis
4. Delivering client-level and ie-per-client reporting
5. Preparing quarterly forecasts and the annual budgeting process
6. Overseeing internal and external audits, including intra-group reporting
7. Ensuringpliance with HMRC and internalernance requirements
8. Supporting strategic projects and ad-hoc business analysis
9. Promoting a strongpliance and risk-awareness culture
What you’ll need to succeed
10. Degree qualified in Business, Finance or a related discipline
11. Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
12. Proven experience in a senior finance role such as Financial Controller or Finance Manager
13. Demonstrable people management and leadership experience
14. Strongmercial acumen with excellent analytical skills
15. Advanced Excel capability and confidence using Microsoft Office tools
16. Experience working with finance systems, reporting tools and consolidation software
17. High levels of accuracy, professionalism and stakeholder engagement
