About the Role
As a Client Accountant, you'll:
* Manage and support a portfolio of small business clients locally and across the UK.
* Work closely with the rest of our team to deliver outstanding service.
* Prepare accounts, VAT returns and management reports.
* Support clients with Xero and other cloud tools and apps.
* Embrace the tech side of life and thrive in it.
* Provide support to a team of bookkeepers and accounts preparers.
* Review accounts and financial information to ensure quality control.
* Help clients to be more profitable through expert practical advice.
* Deliver those little extras that make all the difference to our clients.
* Proactively monitor and act upon deadlines - no penalties on your watch.
* Be the liaison with our strategic partners and other 3rd parties.
* Improve service quality, speed and efficiency through tech wizardry.
About You
You'll be a good fit if you are:
* Part-qualified ACCA/ACMA (or equivalent).
* Experienced — minimum 2 years working in a practice environment with client-facing exposure.
* Proactive, personable, and confident working directly with clients.
* Keen to develop your career in a supportive, non-corporate setting.
* Fast-paced environments don't make you break a sweat; they make you thrive.
* Xero and tech are your secret weapon.
* You love being the go-to person for support and advice with clients.
