Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills and a keen eye for accuracy, ensuring that all documents are prepared and maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in supporting our advisers and facilitating smooth operations within the office environment. The successful candidate will be based in our reception, so the role will also include meeting and greeting clients.
Responsibilities
* Accurately type and format documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
* Maintain organised files and records, both electronically and in hard copy.
* Provide clerical support, including answering phones with proper etiquette and managing incoming communications.
* Meeting and greeting clients.
* Monitoring stationery and office supplies.
* Opening and scanning incoming post and collecting and franking outgoing post.
Skills
* Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Confidence to learn new terminology such as financial abbreviations.
* Good phone etiquette for professional and courteous communication with clients and colleagues.
* Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous.
