What you’ll do: As our Neuro-oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will: Act as the Key Worker for a caseload of patients, supporting them through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. Lead nurse-led clinics, contribute expert clinical input, and coordinate complex treatment pathways. Collaborate with consultants and the wider MDT to streamline referrals and improve access to treatment. Provide tailored education and psychological support to patients and their families. Take the lead on quality improvement and service development initiatives. What we’re looking for: We’re seeking someone already thriving in a specialist role — clinically skilled, compassionate, and driven to deliver excellence. You will bring: NMC registration as a Registered Adult Nurse, with a post-registration qualification in cancer or palliative care. At least 3 years’ post-registration experience, including 2 years in oncology, palliative care, or neuro-oncology. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. The ability to work independently while being part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team. Desirable, but not essential: Previous experience as a CNS or in an advanced practice role. Advanced communication and psychological support training. Experience with audit, service development, or research projects.
