Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure student engagement Maintain a positive learning environment Manage student behaviour and ensure discipline is maintained Assist with classroom preparation and tidying up after lessons Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Mathematics Previous experience working with children or young adults Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work independently Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics Experience: Previous experience working with children or young adults is required Knowledge and Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage classroom behaviour Basic understanding of educational principles Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: The role involves working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and procedures.
