Overview
Prettygate Infant and Junior Schools are seeking to appoint a part-time Admin Assistant to work across both school offices. We are looking for a candidate who is committed, enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated. Applicants should be computer literate and have a good understanding of Word and Excel. Knowledge of SIMS is an advantage but not essential as training will be given for the right candidate. It is an expectation that candidates hold GCSE grades A-C or equivalent, in both Maths and English. Previous school admin experience is strongly desirable.

Responsibilities
* Work under the direction of the School Business Manager and play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of our school offices.
* Be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, providing a professional and welcoming service.
* Welcoming visitors and handling telephone enquiries.
* Assisting in school communications with parents.
* Greeting visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
* Assisting with clerical tasks such as sorting mail and distributing letters.
* Using the school management information system (SIMS) for administrative support.
* Communicating with parents using current systems.
* Help to maintain accurate pupil records and databases.
* Providing general support to staff and leadership teams.
