Our client are seeking a dedicated case handler to join their team, working within a specialist women’s service to support women housed through the Next Steps Accommodation Project.
You will provide intensive, tailored support to women living in Housing properties, helping them manage their tenancies and access the services they need. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll work flexibly, including outreach and floating support, to meet women where they feel most comfortable.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver consistent, trauma-informed, one-to-one support (2–8 hours per client per week).
* Use a case management approach to advocate for women’s housing rights.
* Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate holistic, woman-led support.
* Address intersecting issues such as homelessness, mental health, substance use, and sexual violence.
* Promote harm reduction and empower women to make informed choices.
* Collect and share data to influence service development and strategy.
* Represent the service at events and forums, championing the voices of the women you support.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with women affected by multiple disadvantage.
* A trauma-informed, gender-responsive approach to support.
* Strong partnership working and advocacy skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently in the community.
* A full, clean UK driving licence (travel across Norfolk required).
* Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS and police vetting checks.
