Clinical Lead - Registered Nurse Cheadle Manor Care Centre Management Full time Permanent

Our stunning care home Cheadle Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built care home facility in the popular location of Cheadle village, Stockport. The home is registered to provide care to 68 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential and nursing. The home reflects the New Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. The home meets all CQC requirements and provides the highest of safety, comfort and care to residents. We invest in the latest technology, and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion, they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in house trainers in conjunction with the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD in all domains by CQC. New Care has had a 0 agency usage for over 5 years as we employ a permanent staff team to ensure continuity of care to residents from staff that know them and that residents know and trust. Across New Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. You will be responsible and accountable for the management of the clinical area in the home ensuring the timely provision of care by ensuring that effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care is carried out to a high standard. We have full time contracts available (for 7 day management coverage) with an excellent salary of £49,500 per annum! Shift times are 0745-2000, with alternate weekend working. This is a supernumerary position but flexibility is required to cover sickness and annual leave.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Support the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of business performance and quality targets for the Care Home.
2. Provide support, management and leadership to the Care Home staff.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
4. Ensure high standards of residents care at all times challenging and ensuring that poor practice does not occur.
5. Contribute to the management of the safety, quality and financial aspects of the Care Home.
6. Promote the Care Home in the wider community both locally and nationally.
7. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Skills and experience required:

8. 1st Level Nurse
9. Broad experience of managing people, service and quality to achieve performance targets.
10. Background in the Health and Social Care Sector
11. Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
12. Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships
13. Proficient computer skills in word, excel and in house systems.
