Are you passionate about delivering high quality healthcare in the community?

Amesbury Neighbourhood Team is looking for a Community Nurse to join our supportive and caring team at Amesbury Health Centre.

This role covers the Southeast locality of Wiltshire, and you will be expected to travel across the area as required, therefor having a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

The community nursing team works form 8am to 10pm, 365 days a year.

Our shift pattern includes: 7AM - 3 PM, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, and 2 PM - 10 PM

You would only do a maximum of one late shift a week and join the rota to work one weekend in four.

Job responsibilities

As a Band 5 Community Nurse, you'll be part of our valued team at Amesbury Health Centre with the Amesbury Community Team.

You will be a NMC/1st level registered Nurse, you will have the ability to work both independently and also as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. It is expected that you should have strong communication and organisation skills and a flexible approach which will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey.

You will have a full UK driving license with access to a car for work purposes with Business insurance for the vehicle used.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.
