Role Description
The Producer works closely with the Head of Programming & Producing in the management, planning and delivery of shows and events made by Norwich Theatre, both within our venues and on tour. This is a key role which is busy and varied, liaising with actors, creatives, technical teams, venues, co-producers, and other colleagues both internal and external; and working across multiple projects simultaneously.
The Producer’s role is to line produce Norwich Theatre productions both in Norwich and on tour, ensuring all Norwich Theatre productions are running on time and to budget. The role plays a key part in the planning and delivery of a high quality, inspiring and accessible programme of produced live and digital performance, for Norwich Theatre and on tour.

Skills
* Producing experience gained within a theatre company or venue.
* Experience of working directly with creative teams and facilitating artistic processes
* Knowledge of theatre deals and contracts
* Experience of contract negotiation with agents and artists and a good working knowledge of the relevant contracts
* Experience of strong partnership working
* Knowledge and experience of national touring
