6-month contract – Inside IR35 – up to £490 per day

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in cyber risk management and governance frameworks. The successful candidate will oversee cybersecurity projects, ensuring effective management and mitigation of cyber risks. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, risk management, and governance frameworks to support our efforts in safeguarding digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement cybersecurity project plans and strategies.
* Identify security risks and vulnerabilities; propose mitigation strategies.
* Manage and coordinate the team monitoring and securing IT systems.
* Collaborate across departments for a cohesive cybersecurity approach.
* Implement cybersecurity training and promote security awareness.
* Evaluate security measures and recommend improvements.
* Manage cybersecurity project budgets.
* Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
* Communicate project status and issues with senior management and stakeholders.
* Report on security incidents, analyze data, and identify trends for security improvement.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a cybersecurity Project Manager focusing on risk management and governance.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity threats, risk management, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
* Excellent project management skills, including planning and execution.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
