Overview
We are looking for a staff nurse to work in the Out Patients Department at St Andrews Community Hospital, which includes a Phototherapy Unit and a treatment room.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care and support to patients in the outpatients department.
* Deliver and manage phototherapy sessions.
* Participate in nurse‑led clinics, including vaginal pessary management, assist with surgical procedures, iontopheresis and cryotherapy.
* Manage own patient list and clinic schedules.
* Assist in training and development of junior staff.
* Provide flexible working to meet service needs (Mon‑Fri 08:30‑18:00).
* Stand and walk for extended periods as required by the department.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1‑2 years’ experience in hospital or outpatient settings.
* Interest or experience in phototherapy and in nurse‑led clinics is advantageous but not essential.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
Working Conditions
Part‑time post, pro‑rata pay. Mainly based at St Andrews Community Hospital with occasional visits to Adamson Hospital OPD.
