About The Role
As a Workshop Leader, you will be responsible for the daily management of workshop workload, ensuring vehicles are processed efficiently and in line with KPIs and service level agreements.
This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked within an automotive workshop, car dealership, bodyshop or vehicle preparation centre.
*Applications without automotive experience workshop experience will not be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Coordinate workload across Bodyshop, Mechanical and Parts departments.
* Schedule work based on priority, complexity and parts availability.
* Monitor vehicle progress and escalate issues when required.
* Move vehicles within the workshop.
* Fit small parts (tools provided).
* Maintain high health & safety standards.
* Ensure quality standards and housekeeping are consistently upheld.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience of leading or supervising a team within an automotive workshop environment is essential i.e. dealership, bodyshop, auction site or vehicle preparation centre.
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear instructions.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail.
