A part‑time Day Senior Support Worker is required at Abbott House, providing care to older people in residential care. The role is 12 hours a week and offers pay of £14.57 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑standard care to residents, using the latest care technology.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, healthcare professionals and line managers.
* Follow guidelines and policies, and accurately record care plans.
* Use effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Support residents to achieve their daily goals and enhance their quality of life.
* Maintain a supportive and flexible working environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills; flexible, patient and caring.
* Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Completed or currently working toward a QCF3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
