About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in branch management! Successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a managerial role, based on branch vacancies.
As a Branch Manager, you will lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. You’ll drive customer engagement, enhance the customer experience, and ensure operational excellence while adhering to policies and regulations.
Your Responsibilities
* Coach and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and drive growth.
* Resolve customer and employee experience issues to meet Branch Network objectives.
* Identify opportunities to simplify banking for customers through education and digital options.
* Engage stakeholders and build strong partnerships for a customer-centric experience.
* Mentor and guide talent development while assisting in hiring new talent.
* Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or Branch Network.
* 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing team members.
* Ability to inspire a team focused on adaptability, collaboration, and accountability.
* Strong analytical skills to assess performance and empower employees.
* Experience in building relationships with customers and internal partners.
* Knowledge of banking industry laws, compliance controls, and risk management.
* Relevant military experience is a plus.
Job Expectations
* Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
