This leading retailer is looking for a Senior non-food buyer to manage a key category, focusing on NPD and creating a compelling product range. This role is initially on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
• Working closely with the Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to expand into new product categories and enhance current ranges.
• Managing daily range development, including sample development and selection.
• Conducting sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions.
• Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
• Defining the pricing and promotional strategy for the category.
• Achieving commercial results aligned with category targets to maximize revenue and margin.
• Traveling within the UK and EU throughout the year for trade shows, competitor shopping, and supplier visits.
• Collaborating with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
