Here at Charles Hurst, we are seeking an ambitious and talented Trade Parts Business Development Manager to join our successful team in Belfast. We want someone passionate about the automotive industry with extensive knowledge in parts, either Franchise or After-market.
Our Parts Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and growing trade parts sales within the Trade Hub area, operating from our Trade Parts Hub. The role involves identifying new customers and developing existing ones, especially independent garages, body shops, and fleet sectors, to build and maintain strong relationships and increase parts sales.
Key responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge, working within sales strategies to increase revenue, supporting the Trade Hub team, maintaining accurate customer records, and collaborating with sales and transport managers to focus on high-potential areas. Developing strong relationships with the tele-sales team to achieve sales targets is also essential.
Candidates should have prior experience in a similar automotive environment, a proven track record in automotive Trade Parts, and be IT literate with good knowledge of Excel, Word, and ideally CDK/Kerridge. Experience in monitoring financial performance against budgets and addressing shortfalls is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are also necessary.
