About Us
The Stockton-on-Tees Employment & Training Hub was opened in 2022, recognising the need for a centralised resource to meet the employment needs of our residents. Since then, our Hub has gone from strength to strength, helping over 1,800 people get into employment. From our busy recruitment events to our Work Ready Wednesday sessions, we are always looking for innovative ways to engage with our residents and empower them to find their dream job.
About the Role
As a Recruitment Coordinator you will be an important part of our Hub team and will have a specific focus on supporting our young people with all aspects of employment support, including sourcing training and employment opportunities. This dedicated role will help our young people overcome barriers to accessing education and training, guiding them toward long‑term career success and financial independence. You’ll also work collaboratively with local employers to align their recruitment needs with local talent, offering tailored advice and helping to match vacancies with suitable candidates, creating positive outcomes for both local businesses and Hub clients.
What You Need
You will be a driven and enthusiastic professional with substantial experience in employment support, training, and recruitment. You will have a strong understanding of the local labour market and be confident in using data and labour market intelligence to provide tailored advice to both local businesses and Hub clients. Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships will be key, through engaging with employers, supporting clients, or collaborating with partner organisations. With excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment where you can make a real difference.
