About Radis Community Care
Radis Community Care have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based in Leominster at our supported living service called Pump Piece. We care for a range of service users including the elderly and people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet each individual’s needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24‑hour live‑in care and can be either short or long term.
About the role
As a Team Leader you will provide support to our extra care complex, offering specialised support to individuals. Radis recognises each person as an individual and provides a unique service that is tailored to their specific needs and provides a consistent approach throughout their life. You will be the first point of contact for the package, conducting supervisions, meetings and supporting Care Workers.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to our extra care complex, offering specialised support to individuals.
* Serve as the first point of contact for the package, conducting supervisions, meetings and supporting Care Workers.
* Schedule and allocate work to Care Workers, ensuring personal care and care tasks are client specific.
* Support with medication, personal care tasks and offer support within the community.
* Participate in the on‑call rota and provide cover for care and housing related duties when emergency cover is required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential.
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* A willingness to learn in line with clients’ needs and expectations.
* Enhanced DBS check required.
* Driving licence with access to a vehicle advantageous for travel.
