We have an exciting opportunity for a Flight Planning & ATC Deputy Manager to join our Flight Planning & ATC team within the OCC. This role has been created as part of the continued evolution of our operational leadership structure and sits at the heart of decision‑making, resilience, and performance across the network.

This is an office‑based role at Low Fare Finder House, Yeadon, with occasional operational shift cover to maintain leadership presence.
What you’ll be doing:
* Deputise for the Flight Planning Manager, supporting departmental leadership and operational decision‑making. Ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of Flight Planning & ATC activities across the network.
* Provide escalation support during operational disruption and other time‑critical situations.
* Lead defined departmental projects, change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
* Provide leadership oversight, coaching, and development support to Flight Planning Duty Managers.
* Support onboarding, competence management, succession planning, and roster resilience across the team.
* Monitor operational performance, compliance, and safety standards, promoting a strong Just Culture ethos.
* Act as a key interface between Flight Planning & ATC and the wider OCC, providing operational recommendations to senior management.
What you’ll have:
* Previous experience within an airline OCC, Flight Planning, or operational management environment is preferred.
* Strong operational decision‑making capability within a fast‑paced environment.
* Experience leading, coaching, or developing operational teams.
* A strong understanding of operational compliance, safety, and regulatory standards.
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
* A collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on safety, resilience, and operational performance.
