Contract: Permanent Location: Hybrid (Head Office: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne) This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office one day per week Hours: 18.5 (2.5 days) Salary: Up to £30,000 pro rata for part time hours, depending on experience About the role We’re excited to be looking for a Content Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team to deliver an engaging and compelling content plan to drive engagement with members of our online CACHE Alumni community from the early years, education, health and care sectors. This role is essential to supporting the growth and engagement of our 20,000 strong community of learners, practitioners, and employers from the care sector. You’ll play a key part in ensuring we deliver relevant and focused content and events that assist their learning and development, along with sharing best practice across the community. How you’ll make an impact: Produce and deliver an annual, and quarterly content plan to co-ordinate all content generation and member events that will support creation of an engaging member experience Plan, research and write copy for CACHE Alumni members that is insightful and SEO focused across several key mediums such as case studies, blogs, sector-based articles Write and distribute member email communications and our monthly enewsletter, including the writing, co-ordination and compilation of Aluminate, the bi-annual CACHE Alumni members magazine. Monitor, schedule and manage the social content across the social media channels for CACHE Alumni. Support the delivery of a series of online webinars and events to engage members with relevant sector-based topics and advocates. Work collaboratively with the wider NCFE communications team on copywriting, proofreading, events and webinars, as required. We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following: Educated to degree level, or have an equivalent qualification, in a marketing/English/journalism discipline Demonstrable experience of being in a content marketing/copywriting role with an understanding of SEO Experience working with website content using CMS tools, as well as creating and managing campaigns through email marketing platforms and built‑in editors. Excellent communication, accuracy, and attention to detail, including high‑quality written and verbal skills with exceptional grammar and spelling. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, manage multiple tasks, and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
