Overview
Kent is looking for a Cost Controller to join our Project Controls team at our Engineering office based in Woking. This is a 12-month contract. We follow a hybrid working model requiring four days per week in the Woking office.

Scope of Work
* Develops the cost work breakdown structure aligned to planning, progress, and contractual requirements.
* Assists in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, analysing and reporting.
* Independently provides financial reporting and trending for the Project Controls Manager (PCM).
* Prepare and manage staffing plans (cost and job hours).
* Prepare and coordinate cost reports.
* Collects and classifies cost engineering data.
* Performs data analysis and development.
* Complete duties independently, on time, and within agreed schedules and budgets.
* Ensure all tasks and milestones align with the project progress measurement system.
* Identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement appropriate actions as they arise.
Key Requirements
* Knowledge of capital cost and services cost.
* Knowledge of scope change management.
* Intermediate level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
* Proficiency in using multiple cost software applications (e.g., Ecosys, SAP, Oracle).
* Ability to identify, analyse, and provide innovative solutions to cost problems.
* Knowledge of financial reporting systems and account coding, including Project Financial Status Reports and Earned Revenue Determination.
* Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for executing work processes.
* Strong oral and written communication skills, along with leadership and organizational abilities.
