We are looking for a Software Engineer to actively contribute to the design, development, and optimization of client services-related backend and frontend systems. This role requires hands-on technical skills, a cloud-agnostic mindset, and experience with containerized and serverless architectures.
Your Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend and frontend services for Client Services and Shared Services including private dining, client profile and preferences, itinerary management, communication sent to clients, companies and people data to support such services.
2. Contribute to architectural discussions, advocating for scalable and maintainable solutions.
3. Implement AWS-based serverless services including Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
4. Utilize Kubernetes and EKS to support containerized deployments within a cloud-agnostic environment.
5. Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment processes.
6. Participate in code reviews, testing strategies, and engineering standards enforcement.
7. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
8. Support test automation and ensure seamless integration with delivery pipelines.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
9. 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
10. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer and electrical engineering, or equivalent technical experience (prefer graduate degree).
11. Experience working remotely.
12. Back-end and Front-end software development experience within agile teams.
13. Professional experience with React.
14. Professioal experience with object-oriented programming languages.
15. Cloud-based applications, serverless solutions development experience.
16. Experience in backend development using Java, Python, or .
17. Hands-on expertise with cloud services and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
18. Proficiency with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS for container orchestration.
19. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing practices.
20. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments.
21. Analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and synthesize data, and provide recommendations effectively.
