The Role – Service Vehicle Technician
As a Service Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles and vans, ensuring work is completed to high manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Servicing and maintenance of commercial vehicles and vans
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• MOT preparation, inspections, and safety checks
• Road testing vehicles to confirm repair quality
• Completing service documentation accurately
• Working closely with service advisors and workshop team
• Following workshop health and safety procedures
About You
• Experience as a Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles preferred
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Reliable, professional, and quality-focused
• Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence preferred
