Shuttering Carpenters - Immediate Start - White City
Long-term Contract
We are recruiting experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join a leading civil engineering and construction contractor on a prestigious new development in London. The works include a new pedestrian bridge, demolition of an existing bridge, structural steel installation, civil engineering, and building works featuring a large central opening for a statement staircase.
This is a long-term opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
* Constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and plywood to precise dimensions
* Striking formwork once concrete has set
* Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card – Blue skilled card
* Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter on large construction projects
* Full PPE
* Own tools essential
