Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our client’s growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a construction or building background who is looking to advance their career. The successful candidate will support and eventually lead the delivery of refurbishment projects from inception through to completion, with a clear path toward managing multiple projects independently. Key Responsibilities * Support the planning and delivery of refurbishment projects from start to finish * Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate site operations and subcontractors * Assist with client communication and management throughout the project lifecycle * Help manage project timelines, budgets, and quality controls * Contribute to procurement processes and material coordination * Maintain up-to-date project documentation and progress reporting * Ensure adherence to health & safety policies and regulations on site * Take increasing responsibility with a view toward managing projects independently Requirements * Experience working in a construction, building, or refurbishment environment * Strong understanding of project lifecycle and site operations * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Motivated, proactive, and eager to take on more responsibility * Ambition to progress into a full Project Manager role in the near future * Full UK driving licence (preferred) Desirable * Experience managing or supporting small to medium refurbishment projects * Relevant qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4, or a construction-related degree) * CSCS card or equivalent health & safety certification What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience * Opportunity for structured career progression into a Project Manager role * Supportive and experienced team environment * Varied and interesting project portfolio across North and Central London * Ongoing training and personal development opportunities
