Job Description:
We're supporting a top 15 firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone, seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager. The role involves developing relationships with a diverse client portfolio and offers a hybrid working model of home and office. There is significant potential for career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing corporate tax returns and preparing complex returns
* Handling HMRC enquiries
* Contacting clients for additional information
* Identifying and supporting tax planning opportunities
* Participating in research projects
* Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC
* Collaborating with Partners on areas like R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, and employee share schemes
* Supporting Managers and Partners with staff management
Requirements
* Experience in corporate tax within UK accountancy practice
* ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualified or studying
* Experience with specific tax software is advantageous
* Strong relationship-building and corporate awareness skills
* Highly organized with attention to detail
* Ability to manage and multitask effectively
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, negotiable
