Overview
Family Paralegal - Public Law Team– Bolton. An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join their busy public law team. This role offers the chance to work on high-quality cases in a supportive environment with opportunities for career progression. The role may involve travel to courts, client meetings, and other offices, so access to a car is desirable. Initial training will take place at the firms Bolton office.
Responsibilities
* Arrange appointments and meetings
* Telephone and email contact with clients and external agencies
* Diary management and scheduling
* Database and file management
* Prepare bundles and documentation for hearings
* Liaise with clients and provide updates on case progress
* Use of CCMS (desirable)
* Support the wider team and contribute to continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within a Family Law department is essential
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Strong time management and organisational skills
