Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Filton, compressed hours. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be providing design solutions for structural and integrated systems used in test rigs. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineers (controls, gauging, electrical, and fluid mechanical) to translate test requirements into practical, robust designs. This role involves the full design cycle - from concept to commissioning - with direct engagement with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
Qualifications
Experience in Aircraft design disciplines: Structural Design, Systems Integration
Proficiency in CATIA V5
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail with minimal supervision
Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration
Prior experience in the Aviation, Space, Defence, or Advanced Air Mobility sectors is a plus
