We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse ready to embark on a leadership journey or a seasoned leader passionate about in-patient hospital nursing. Our client is seeking a Lead Medical Veterinary Nurse to lead the provision of top-tier care at an esteemed, RCVS accredited small animal hospital in Leeds.
As the Lead Medical Veterinary Nurse, you will immerse yourself in all aspects of in-patient hospital nursing, meticulously overseeing protocols and procedures. Your primary focus will be the management of a diverse caseload within the wards, encompassing both medical and surgical patients. Your dedication will ensure the delivery of unparalleled care to valued patients.
Joining this dynamic team, you will collaborate with dedicated hospital nurses, rotating nurses, student veterinary nurses, and patient care assistants. Together, you will provide round-the-clock care, supporting and working seamlessly with all departments within the hospital.
Their hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Flexible and Rigid Endoscopes, an In-house Laboratory, Dental Suite with dental X-ray, and more, enabling you to deliver excellence in patient care.
To thrive in this role, you must be a qualified RVN with a passion for in-patient nursing or a keen interest in developing within this specialised area. The Role:
•Full Time role 40 hour week
•4 day week
•1:4 weekends with 1 day off before and 1 day off the week after when weekend worked
•No OOH
