Bennett and Game are working alongside a successful business in the signage industry, and are looking to expand their team by adding a Production Manager to the business. The role is based in Ashford and is onsite.
Production Manager Job Overview
The role involves liaising with the Purchasing Manager, Head of Projects and Operations, and all department supervisors to ensure all projects are completed on time, in line with the schedule, while also monitoring the quality of each element produced.
Production Manager Job Requirements
* Staff management: Assess overtime levels and report back to Senior Management.
* Assist the Head of Projects and Operations with the implementation of the Production Schedule and oversee it once operational.
* Ensure timesheets are completed for all jobs and update the standard hours spreadsheet accordingly.
* Ensure quality standards and processes are always met and used.
* Chair twice-weekly Production Meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
* Investigate non-conformance forms and report findings to the Head of Projects and Operations.
* Oversee all members of Production and serve as the first point of contact for issues and questions, escalating as appropriate.
* Be the first contact for engineers regarding product-related issues on site (not site-related issues).
* Manage PPE for Production.
* Coding: Ensure every steelwork item is coded.
* Delivery Schedule: Populate and liaise with delivery drivers regarding the delivery schedule.
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience).
* Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.
