What you will be doing

as a Health Safety & Wellbeing Manager
1. Work with Health, Safety & Wellbeing Senior Management to ensure appropriate implementation of the delivery plan for the geographic regions.
2. Strengthen the management of investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of preventative and corrective actions.
3. Undertake site inspections, and assurance visits focusing on high and medium-risk sites to deliver the 5-year assurance program.
4. Build valuable internal and external relationships with stakeholders, supply chain partners, and regulators.
5. Inclusion with the ‘on-call’ Health, Safety & Wellbeing ‘24/7’ rota to ensure functional support for incident management.
6. Working across Capital delivery and supporting contractors’ review.
7. Producing and presenting performance packs across silos.
8. Working hours: 36 hours per week.

What you should bring to the role

9. Expertise relating to specific risks in Water, Wastewater and /or Construction.
10. NEBOSH Diploma and have or working towards CMIOSH.
11. In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety and Wellbeing legislation, and its practical application.
12. Ability to negotiate flexibly and constructively at the highest levels.
13. Full UK Driving Licence.

14. Offering up to £65,000 per annum depending on previous experience and car allowance of £5,800.
