Job Title: Youth Support Worker
The role of a Youth Support Worker involves working within the classroom alongside a dedicated behavioural support team, providing learning support to students in a SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) and EBD (Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties) school in Chesterfield. You will encourage and engage with young people aged 11–16 (KS3/4) who are disengaged from education, either through group activities or on a 1:1 basis. This will involve sports-based P.E lessons or classroom-based learning. The position is full-time, temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working with challenging behaviours (highly desirable)
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one
* The ability to work proactively and on your own initiative
* Team Teach Level 2 training or willingness to undertake this course (free of charge)
* A valid driving licence and access to a car
* Availability Monday to Friday
