Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. These roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals eager to work in a specialist environment with full training and qualifications provided.

The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs. The goal is to create an environment that caters to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should have the confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.

Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.

A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, school, and social activities.

1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment
3. Stay updated with communication and information systems
4. Participate actively in meetings
5. Support young people in managing their behavior using approved skills
6. Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences
7. Protect service users from abuse
8. Write accurate reports and keep records
9. Attend training and achieve relevant qualifications
10. Work reliably and punctually according to shift patterns
11. Stay informed about procedures and policy updates
12. Ensure health and safety for yourself and others
13. Perform additional duties relevant to the role
