A Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Japanese-speaking Account Administrator to work in their newly established London office.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial and administrative operations within the UK entity.
The ideal candidate should have experience in finance or accounting support, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Business level fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential.

Account Administrator Main Responsibilities:
Banking & Financial Management
* Schedule and manage payments for all vendors, contractors, and service providers, including handling urgent payments upon request
* Receive and securely store monthly bank and credit card statements
* Prepare monthly and quarterly internal P&L statements and financial reports
* Manage VAT filing documentation and data
* Maintain records for all banking and financial transactions
Payroll Support
* Set up salary transfers and distribute payslips securely
* Maintain employee records, including insurance, tax details, contracts, and supporting documents
* Manage timesheets, attendance, overtime, and leave
* Coordinate with external vendors and submit payroll reports
Invoice Management
* Record and update invoices
* Oversee expense tracking and documentation
* Verify purchase orders and shipping invoices
Operations and Administration
* Securely store financial and administrative records
* Oversee e-commerce payments and VAT submissions
* Manage store cash flow and inventory reconciliation
* Coordinate with freight forwarders and handle shipping cost analysis
Additional Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records
* Streamline administrative processes
* Serve as main contact between UK and Japanese HQ for finance/admin matters
* Stay updated on payroll regulations
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in finance/support roles in retail or similar sectors
* Knowledge of UK banking and payroll procedures
* Fluent in English and Japanese
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
* Familiar with employment documentation, GDPR, and data protection
* Ability to handle confidential information
