This is a Full-Time, Permanent, 40 hours a week position.
£25,000 - £27,000 Annual Salary
Job Purpose :
As a Scheduler at Home Instead Eastbourne and Hailsham, you will play a crucial role in coordinating services for our clients.
The Scheduler role involves coordinating schedules for clients and caregivers, ensuring efficient care delivery, and fostering strong relationships.
Your primary responsibility will be to create effective and efficient schedules that meet our clients' needs while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Create schedules that align with our clients' and Care Professionals' preferences and availability.
2. Consider factors like travel time, holidays, training, and last-minute cancellations when preparing schedules.
3. Respond promptly to changes in schedules and collaborate with the relevant team members.
4. Match Care Professionals with new clients in coordination with the client services team and facilitate introductions.
5. Ensure that client schedules align with their specific needs, promoting consistency with the same Care Professional and time slots whenever possible.
6. Cultivate strong relationships with both clients and Care Professionals to enhance their overall experience.
7. Collaborate with the recruitment team to meet current and future staffing requirements.
8. Work closely with the Care Team to ensure timely resourcing and scheduling of new and existing care packages.
9. Maintain accurate client and Care Professional information in our electronic scheduling system.
10. Fulfil any other duties essential for the smooth operation of our business.
11. Participate in on-call duties as required, which may include providing cover for care visits.

Essential Criteria :
13. Previous experience in a scheduling role, preferably in home care or a related field such as logistics.
14. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and experience with CRM software. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
15. Resilience and a positive attitude, coupled with exceptional communication skills.
16. Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities, capable of maintaining composure and accuracy under pressure.
17. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly.
18. Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to multitask effectively.
19. Logical and analytical thinking, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
