Job Opportunity: Temporary Accounts Assistant – Huddersfield (£30,000–£35,000) Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential to be permanent) Location: Huddersfield Salary: Circa £30,000–£35,000 (depending on experience)
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time temporary basis. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility—and for the right candidate, there’s potential for a permanent position.Key Responsibilities:
1. Management ofpany bank accounts and accounting systems
2. Debtor and creditor control, ensuring timely collections and payments
3. Support with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
4. Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to financial procedures and systems
What We’re Looking For:
5. Previous experience in a similar accounts role
6. Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
7. High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
9. A proactive, team-oriented approach
Duration:Temporary full-time role, with the possibility of bing permanent for the right candidate
