Role Summary:
Thrifted is a dynamic, forward-thinking online thrift store, offering a curated selection of pre-loved and vintage clothing. We're looking for an engaging and personable Social Media Presenter to join our team and help create exciting content across our platforms
We're looking for a confident content creator to bring our brand to life across TikTok and Instagram. This role is all about connecting with our community, whether that's through street interviews, hosting live auctions, or creating weekly upsell videos that highlight new drops and key items. You'll play a key part in driving engagement, building excitement around our products, and helping us grow both online and at our monthly kilo events.
The ideal candidate is passionate about vintage fashion, comfortable on camera, and has the charisma to keep people watching. This role is more about selling clothes, its about building a brand that feels like a community.
Responsibilities
* Produce weekly upsell videos for Thrifted's TikTok and Instagram, showcasing new drops and key vintage pieces in a fun, engaging way. These videos should highlight both fresh arrivals and existing stock, with the aim of driving sales, building community, and capturing the energy of American-style vintage for a UK and global audience.
* We will invite influencers, stylists and Tiktokers onto our 'show'; where they will come to our purpose built warehouse studio to talk all things style & fashion + take a good look at what we have in stock and how they would wear or style it. It's your role to lead these conversations and build rapport & relationships with those coming to the studio - ultimately to make great content
* Host interactive live auctions on TikTok, showcasing curated vintage pieces in a way that's both entertaining and informative. You'll bring energy and personality to each stream, presenting items with style details, brand history, and tips on how to wear them, while driving excitement and bids from viewers. The role is about creating a lively shopping experience that reflects Thrifted's love for vintage fashion—turning each auction into a moment of community, discovery, and fun.
* Actively engage with attendees of our month kilo sale events, through street-style interviews, capturing authentic reactions, opinions, and thrift finds that resonate with our community. Beyond events, you'll also help to carry out general street interviews in high-footfall areas to generate fresh, engaging content that builds brand awareness and strengthens Thrifted's platform. This role involves creating fun, on-brand content that highlights the community around vintage shopping, everyday street culture, and the individuality of vintage fashion.
* Collaborate with our team on social media content creation, ensuring it aligns with the brand's tone and identity.
Skills & Experience -
Not essential, but beneficial if you have experience using cameras or mobile devices to capture high-quality content.
You need to be personable, energetic, and able to connect with a student centric audience of 18-25 across our social media platforms.
Understanding vintage and streetwear brands is a must
A solid understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and other trending platforms is key.

Position: Freelance Contract days per week required on contract)
Pay: £135 per day starting, can vary with experience level
ESSENTIALS -
* Be able to create a strong social media presence.
* Passionate about fashion and vintage clothing.
* Comfortable hosting live sessions and engaging with followers.
* Able to work 1-2 days per week, with availability for Friday live sessions and occasional weekend work

* Due to the average sizing of our vintage stock, an ideal candidate would be a size M/L.
* Local to London or Essex area
